Hyperlipidemia is a common condition that results in extra fats, also known as lipids, in your blood. This condition, also known as High Cholesterol, is treatable, but it’s often life-long. You may need to change your eating habits, exercise regularly, and possible start a prescription medication. The treatment goal is to lower the harmful cholesterol levels. Doing so reduces your risk of heart disease, heart attack, stroke, and other health problems.
Coastal Clinical Research, Inc. is currently enrolling patients in a Hyperlipidemia Clinical Research study. Qualified participants will receive study-related care at no cost, and will be compensated for time and travel($65 per visit). Insurance is not required.
Dr. Michael Ledet is the study doctor who will oversee the care of each patient enrolled. Dr. Ledet is board certified in Family Medicine, Sleep Medicine, and Lipidology. Dr. Ledet has been practicing medicine since 1987, with his current private practice located on the campus of Springhill Medical Center.
Dr. Ledet has been conducting clinical research trials since 1999. All study patients are seen at Coastal Clinical Research.
